What is C-Arms?
A C-Arm apparatus is an advanced medical imaging machine based on X-ray technology. They are mainly used for fluoroscopy capabilities, though they have radiography capabilities too. C-Arm is named so, due to its C-shaped arm, which is used to attach the x-ray source on one end and the detector on the other. C-Arm machines supplied by C-Arm Machine Suppliers are extensively used during orthopedic, urology, gastroenterology surgeries, other intricate surgical, pain organization, and emergency procedures, cardiac and angiography studies, and in healing studies counting stents or needle placements. Fluoroscopy technology allows high-resolution X-ray pictures provided in real-time so that the surgeons can do more precise procedures with better consequences for the patient. C-Arm systems are also movable and deliver a great deal of suppleness to the surgeon to take pictures of the whole body of the patient from different positions as required.
A portable C-arm bought from C-Arm Machine Suppliers in India, includes an X-Ray generator, an image intensifier or flat-panel detector, and a terminal, which has the controls and settings. The C-shaped arm linking the generator and detector, permits movement flat, vertically, and around the spin axes, so that X-ray pictures of the patient are fashioned from many angles. The generator produces X-rays that enter the patient’s body which is positioned in between. The image intensifier or detector adapts the X-rays into a visible picture shown on the C-arm monitor. A doctor can check structural details such as bones, and breaks in the bone under deliberation vs the position of grafts and tools in real-time, while doing the procedure, without instigating damage to other parts.
